January 8th, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, via Zoom: Kent Street Coalition’s 8th Annual NH Legislative Overview Meeting Learn how you can advocate for our state legislature to preserve freedoms for all, stop funneling our tax dollars to the ultra-wealthy, and lower our property taxes.

January 10, 2pm: Representative Sallie Fellows will be hosting the showing of the the original version of “1984” starring John Hurt and Richard Burton, at the Pease Public Library in Plymouth. This is limited to 50 people so reserve early! An opportunity for discussion will follow this 111 minute movie. Bring your own popcorn!

January 14th or 15th: Save the dates for Rapid Response Training. We offer this training, provided by The Mount Washington Valley Rapid Response Team, so that we can be prepared to provide support to those threatened by ICE. If you are interested in joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to documenting ICE activity and assisting those involved, please let us know and stay tuned for details about this important training.

February 5th, 5 or 6pm: Central NH Indivisible presents The Last Class at the Flying Monkey in Plymouth. Drawing on his lifetime in politics, Robert Reich uses his class, “Wealth and Poverty,” to offer a deeper look at why inequalities of income and wealth have widened significantly since the late 1970s, and why this poses dangerous risks to our society.
